A Note on Tariffs and Pricing Adjustments

As many of you know, the current tariff environment is rapidly evolving. Because we offer products manufactured around the world, we're seeing newly imposed import duties ranging from 10% to as high as 145% over previously existing rates.

Rather than applying a blanket price increase or adding fees across the board, we've chosen a more thoughtful and fair approach. We believe it's not right to raise prices on items that aren’t affected by the higher tariffs—such as U.S.-made products, items imported before the tariff hikes, or those not subject to the steepest rates. Instead, we’re evaluating pricing on a case-by-case basis and only making adjustments when necessary.

Here's how we're handling price changes:

• If a manufacturer raises their MAP (Minimum Advertised Price), we are contractually obligated to reflect that change on our site.

• If we incur higher import costs on a specific shipment, we may adjust the retail price of those items based on the actual additional duties paid. When possible, we’ll absorb part of that cost ourselves—provided we can still offer the product at a sustainable price.

We've even delayed some inbound shipments in hopes that ongoing trade discussions will lead to more favorable tariff terms.

Our mission remains unchanged: offer the best products at the fairest possible prices. We're committed to keeping costs down and making this hobby as accessible as we can—even during this temporary period of uncertainty.

A Quick Note About Backorders

We’ve chosen not to disable backorders across our site, as we hope this situation resolves soon. You're welcome to place backorders, but please note that if the cost of a backordered item significantly increases due to tariffs before we can fulfill it, we may need to cancel the order. We’ll always do our best to avoid this and appreciate your understanding as we work to keep prices reasonable.
