The E-flite® Decathlon RJG 1.2m is a high-performance, scale replica of the iconic aerobatic trainer flown by RJ Gritter in airshows across the United States. Featuring a classic yet modernized red, white, and blue trim scheme, this model offers both aesthetic appeal and advanced functionality. Constructed from durable EPO material, it boasts a 47.7" wingspan and a length of 34.64", providing a stable and responsive flight experience. Equipped with a 45-amp Spektrum™ Avian™ Smart Lite ESC, it supports 3S and 4S 2200–3200mAh LiPo batteries, delivering excellent performance and flight times. The included Spektrum AR631 receiver offers fly-by range telemetry and industry-leading DSMX® technology, enhancing control and safety. Optional-use SAFE® Select flight envelope protection makes it easier to fly, catering to both intermediate and experienced pilots. Additional features include functional LED landing and navigation lights, digital metal-geared servos, and ball-link equipped linkages for precise control. The one-piece wing is easy to install and remove, thanks to hands-free connections and thumbscrews, while the snap-on wing struts eliminate the need for tools. This Bind-N-Fly® Basic model requires a full-range 4–5+ channel Spektrum DSMX/DSM2 compatible transmitter, a compatible LiPo battery with EC3™ or IC3® connector, and a compatible LiPo charger to complete.
