Crafted entirely in the USA through collaborative efforts between Flite Test, Tritium Electronics, and the FPVFC, the FT EZ ID combines compliance and utility seamlessly. Tailored for both RC model airplane and recreational drone pilots, our goal was to create a lightweight, adaptable remote ID solution that effortlessly transitions between aircraft.

At just 10g, the FT EZ ID is incredibly lightweight and compatible with power sources ranging from 3.3V to an 8-cell battery. Its integrated GPS receiver and Bluetooth transmitter (4 and 5) with printed circuit board antennas ensure functionality without the added bulk of external attachments. With an average power draw of only 10 milliamps, the impact on power consumption during use on fixed-wing or multirotor aircraft is minimal.

Ease of installation and versatility are key aspects of the FT EZ ID. It can be effortlessly installed, removed, and transferred across a pilot’s entire fleet of recreational aircraft or securely mounted within a multirotor stack using its 20x20-millimeter mounting holes.
