This product is flagged as containing lithium batteries, or this shopping cart has items flagged as containing batteries. Some items which have batteries as an optional add-on may be flagged as containing batteries even if you did not choose the battery option. See the bottom of the page for safe battery handling information.
IMPORTANT: If you choose "With Compatible Equipment" as an option for a battery, you MUST include a compatible product that will plug directly into the battery and which is compatible with the battery chosen. Common choices are the RMRC Portable Soldering Iron or STRIX XT60 Power Hub with USB. The compatible device must be a functioning product, not simply parts or an unassembled kit. It is up to the buyer to choose a compatible device. Orders that do not contain a compatible device will have their shipping changed to an equal or less expensive compatible shipping conveyance and a store credit will be issued for any difference. If there are no compatible shipping options for a price lower than what was originally paid for shipping your order may be held for adjustments or additional payment.
To follow shipping regulations, items flagged as having batteries may have some shipping types restricted.
To follow US DOT, IATA, and USPS shipping regulations, we must limit the quantities and capacities of batteries that can be shipped. If an order is received that violates the restrictions below, RMRC will cancel the order, remove some or all of the batteries and ship the remainder of the order, or change the shipping method, at our discretion. A refund will be issued for any items removed or canceled.
Please see the shipping terms page to find out what shipping methods are considered ground versus air shipping. The rules and chart below are simplified as much as possible to allow for easier understanding. Other rules may apply in some cases.
USPS does not allow the shipping of stand-alone batteries via any air conveyance. This includes all shipping methods with the exception of Parcel Post. Any vendors shipping batteries through US Mail are breaking USPS, US DOT, and IATA rules and are breaking the law.
